    Niet aan beginnen!!! Ze schrijven binnen 2 weken 30 euro af en je kan niet meer inloggen! Blokkeer de mail en de bankrekening meteen anders blijven ze aan de gang!! Trap er niet in! Oplichters om zo misbruik van de mens te maken

    Don't use this service if you're not familiar with the airport and dont speak Dutch. The driver refused to work with us to setup a reasonable pickup point that we could get to and hardly spoke intelligibly, even though we understand some basic Dutch. We had to get a taxi instead when we couldn't find him, and the company refused a refund because the driver was somewhere around the airport. We booked a Taxi to meet us at Schiphol at the suggested time a bit over an hour after our scheduled landing. We got through security quite fast, (45 minutes before the booking) and called the driver as instructed. We let him know that we were already through and ready for pickup when he could be there - he said OK, I'll call when I get there. I asked where we should go to meet him and he would only say "Ill tell you when I get there." That's not so helpful when you're at an unfamiliar airport, and the service at booking had suggested that you would work that out with the driver when you call after landing... not be advised spontaneously when they arrive for pickup. 30 minutes later we called him back and asked when he would be there and he said he'd be there at the originally scheduled time. A bit annoying, he could have let us know the first time that he wasn’t going to be on the way, but sure. Again we asked where we should meet him and he said he'd call when he got there. We waited until around 10 minutes after the scheduled time, and when we had received no calls, we called him again. He told us to meet him at "A, B, or C" and we let him know that we weren't sure what that meant, but thought we were following signs that said we were going there (We saw letters above the exits). Unfortunately he couldn't speak clearly enough to explain further in English, so just reiterated that. We went to where we thought he was, but couldn't find him, so I called him again. Again he wasn't able to explain clearly, but was able to tell us the hotel across the street, so we walked quite a ways to the pickup area across from that hotel, and still he wasn't there. We called again after several minutes, and he kept saying "upstairs," but we weren't able to find an "upstairs" to the pickup area. During the last call I made clear that we didnt know how to get where he was and had been searching for some time, so I asked if he could come to us. He tried to explain but was unintelligible and repeated "upstairs." After walking around for 20 minutes and now standing in the freezing rain with our luggage and 2 kids, we just grabbed a taxi and got to where we needed to be. As we were leaving, we realized departures was upstairs, which may be where he wanted to pick us up (not any of the assigned pick up areas). We couldn't tell that from inside the airport or the pick up areas outside Arrivals. The service refuses to refund because the driver was at the "agreed upon place" and supposedly tried to call us, though I never saw a missed call and called him 4 times. He also was not at an "agreed upon place", as we tried to arrange that with him several times and he explicitly refused. It's not worth it. Yes, the booking was a bit cheaper than the taxi ended up being, but absolutely not worth the headache. We could have just gone straight to the taxis after landing and left nearly an hour earlier without the headache.

    Ik ben al een tijdje fan van GetYourGuide, maar mijn laatste ervaring was echt teleurstellend. Ik had een tour geboekt die ik op het laatste moment moest annuleren vanwege onverwachte omstandigheden. De aanbieder van de tour had hier geen probleem mee, maar GetYourGuide stond erop om mij toch volledig te laten betalen. Ik probeerde de tour om te boeken naar een andere, zelfs duurdere optie, maar daar wilden ze niets van weten. Het voelde alsof ik tegen een muur aan het praten was. Geen enkele bereidheid om mee te denken, alles volgens de regels en geen greintje flexibiliteit. Uiteindelijk heb ik gevraagd om mijn account te verwijderen, maar zelfs dat is nog niet gebeurd. Deze ervaring heeft mijn vertrouwen in GetYourGuide compleet weggevaagd. Ik boek hier nooit meer en adviseer anderen om goed op te letten.
