First, the shipping timeline was significantly longer than expected, as the product was shipped from China without clear disclosure upfront. The extended lead time was not communicated transparently at the time of purchase, which set incorrect expectations. When the item finally arrived, the quality was extremely disappointing and did not match the product description or images advertised online. The item appeared to be completely misrepresented, and I felt misled by what was marketed versus what I actually received. The return process was unnecessarily complicated and burdensome. I was required to provide multiple forms of documentation, including detailed photos of the item, packaging, receipt, and proof of shipment with tracking. Additionally, I was responsible for paying return shipping costs, which was not made clear at the time of purchase. After the item was returned and received, I was then informed—only at that point—that additional fees would be deducted, including shipping, restocking, and handling charges. As a result, I was charged an additional $40 and only received a $100 refund, despite returning the product in full. This experience reflects a lack of transparency, misleading product representation, and unfair return policies. I would not recommend this company and advise others to proceed with caution.

Really upset that I could not get a return adress to send the jacket back since it was too small and I had no time to swap it before the party. I asked many times for a return adress to get my $94 back but you refused. Instead, you gave me $25 and told me to keep the jacket.. What am I supposed to do with it?! I will not buy from this store again and will definitely tell friends not to order unless they are sure it fits.

Stay away from buying from this company. Their return policy is a total rip-off. They promise a "full refund," but after sending the item back, they charge hidden fees you never knew about. It's pure bait-and-switch. Also, the product arrived in awful shape—the dress was squished in a cheap plastic bag. From the fake refund promises to the messy packaging, dealing with them was a total disaster. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

Once they confirmed, I got 7 days to send it back. They asked for a photo of the package, the receipt, and tracking details. After they got everything, I received a full refund and a polite email from Tiki, who helped me all the way. I get that they want you to keep items, but this process feels too complicated. Many people order several dresses to try for events since stores don’t carry them. Making it easier could bring back more customers. I won’t be buying from Hellymoon.com again even if the dress is really nice. Writing this review also took a lot of steps.

Why is it taking forever to get an order even when I paid for faster shipping for my daughter Homecoming dance? It still hasn’t shipped and I placed the order almost 2 weeks ago. Now I’ll have to buy a different dress because of their slow shipping. Can’t cancel the order, so I’ll have to wait and return it later, and from what I see that’s going to take ages. Customer service is no help at all what so ever.
