I've had a few loans with this company
I've had a few loans with this company, all paid off, sometimes early. This will likely be my final time dealing with them due to the very poor customer service. I booked a trip through Norwegian Cruise Lines, and the first time, the payment from Uplift was declined (I have an email proving it). After retrying, the payment was approved (I also have that email). In short, I ended up with two trips and was charged twice by Uplift. Although Norwegian promptly refunded me and provided confirmation, Uplift has yet to return my money. Despite having confirmation that it's been refunded and making efforts to contact all parties involved, Uplift hasn't fulfilled their part. Speaking with a representative is impossible, and their email customer support is ineffective. They swiftly take your money but drag their feet when it's time for a refund, which seems unfair. It's not my fault, yet I'm suffering the consequences. They'll charge me for two trips and, judging by other reviews, possibly add interest, even though I have proof that I shouldn't have been charged for one of them. This feels predatory, and I wouldn't recommend them. The only seamless process appears to be when they're taking your money, not when they owe you.
