My partner and I traveled to Japan in October
My partner and I traveled to Japan in October, and let’s just say nothing went as planned. Mid-flight, I began feeling a lot of pain in my hip and leg, so by the time we landed in Tokyo, I had to use a wheel chair to get through customs. Once we finally got to the hotel, I ended up needing an ambulance. I was in so much pain I couldn’t even sit or walk, only lay down. I was taken to the hospital, went through several tests, and spent a few days there until the pain was manageable with medication. Eventually, I was discharged and we were able to continue with our trip. Later, we rented a car for a road trip, but right before we returned it, I accidentally scratched the door in a parking lot. It wasn’t a big deal, but the company made us pay a hefty amount for repairs and fees. The next day, I received the heartbreaking news that my mother had passed away in Spain. I left my partner in Tokyo and flew back for the funeral. After spending two and a half days there, I returned home to the States. All of this was costly, but Generali covered every penny of our expenses. Thanks so much for your help!
