The staff was really supportive, and they became good friends. They often took time from their own lives to show us more of the city. The lessons helped me understand Management Consulting basics well, and Byron, my teacher, was so helpful, meeting outside of class too. Attending Lisbon summer internship with Amy Buczynski and Jakes van Aarde was great. They were good managers. For many, it was first abroad program, some first work experience. Amy and Jakes made it like home for 30 students of different backgrounds, like older siblings and mentors for six weeks. They supported us during internships and made sure we had fun. We went on boat trips, ate at restaurants, and had city field trips. Nobody felt homesick. I'm thankful for their guidance. We became a close group, will keep in touch with mentors.
