Low maintenance and quiet

My one bedroom flat doesn't offer much extra space and I'm sensitive to noise so finding the right mining machine was a challenge. I ended up going with the Iceriver KS0 ultra. It's small enough. I added a fan to direct hot air out through a vent. I mine Kaspa. It's not going to make me rich but it's low maintenance and quiet.

Easy returns

I previously ordered the IceRiver Miner ALPH AL0 and I waited for almost 3 weeks to get it. So you can really feel my frustration when I set it up and it didn't work as well as it was advertised. I immediately called their customer service, who are all so helpful (thankfully), and they walked me through the process of returning the mining rig to get it replaced. Now, I've been using the new rig and it's definitely performing better than the previous one. Thanks for the quick action on this, IceRiver!

Warranty Policies

Not sure how other mining websites or companies work when it comes to warranty issues, but with IceRiver, they are offering a 24-month warranty on their rigs. It is also comforting that they sell accessories for the rigs, just in case I'll be needing to buy them.

I finally received my mining rig, the frame looks good and the materials used all seem high quality. I’ll start setting up and will try to give another review in a couple of weeks or months. But so far, everything looks good.

Accommodating customer support

This is a partial review, since I still haven't received my equipment yet, but it is understandable since I have just recently placed my order a couple of days ago. I just want to share my experience with the customer support of this company. As a new miner, I get anxious easily whenever I read bad reviews on the internet, so I need to confirm some things with IceRiver, thankfully their customer service representative was very accommodating and he easily answered all my questions. They can be reached through email, but phone call is easier.

I totally didn't see it coming – my Iceriver KS5 Pro was pumping out way more heat than I bargained for especially in my already sweltering climate. I grabbed some hefty exhaust fans, threw together a solid air cooling system and now it's running steady, even on the hottest days. If you're mining in a warm spot like me, don't sleep on cooling, it's what keeps your miners from frying!

I'm now considering upgrading my setup with a second miner

I had extra space in my guest room, so I transformed it into small mining setup with an Iceriver AL3 with 15 th/s. The sound was an issue initially, but adding soundproofing panels solved that. I also put in a ventilation system to keep the temperature stable. Mining from home has worked out well. It's more cost-effective than external hosting and I can manage it directly. After just a few weeks, I saw good profits. I'm now considering upgrading my setup with a second miner!
