Vettem egy 99p-s tanfolyamot, és úgy belerángattak egy éves tagságba, hogy lehetetlen volt lemondani, így automatikusan levonták, és én azonnal mondtam, hogy nem kérem, ez hiba volt. Azt mondták, mindegy, nem érdekel minket, viszlát. Nincs fogyasztóvédelmi törvény, mert az USA-ban/dél-Amerikában van bejegyezve. Csak átverés az egész.

Domestika took CAD$130 for Domestika Plus with no prior notice. They say you can get a refund within 14 days of the renewal, but that's not accurate. The "refund" button is not there. I've been trying to contact them for 2 weeks with no luck. I’ve messaged on social media, emailed, filled out their form, and called their main office... all I get are unhelpful bot replies. Honestly, I doubt I'll get my money back. It seems like they just took it and that's that.

Domestika - Betrüger-Plattform - Finger weg!!!
Domestika ist ein reiner Betrüger-Plattform geworden. Ohne, dass ich selber das Jahresabo abgeschlossen habe, haben sie mir unbemerkt über 2 Jahre die Jahresabobeträge von meinem Paypal-Konto abgebucht. Im 2. Jahr war die Gebühr auch noch plötzlich deutlich höher. Leider hat Paypal die Betrüger unterstützt indem sie Domestika in diesem Fall unterstützt haben. Auf meine verschiedenen Mails haben sie nicht mal reagiert. Finger weg davon!

Deceptive company practices and lacking customer support. They billed my card for an annual package without proper consent even though I canceled the "plus" trial, and it was confirmed as canceled. Still, I was charged later. Their support only sends generic replies, offering no real help. Feels like a skam.

Company doesn't properly notify before charging for yearly sub. Claimed they sent 3 emails for free trial (not got) & automatically charged when no response ($97.00). Won't cancel or refund. Heard they did same to others, even friend.

Domestika is running a scam
Be very careful with the company Domestika! They use false advertising. I signed up for a spoon carving course taught by @a.ndrea_cortes for $1.99 USD, only to find they charged me an extra $108.86 USD without my permission. For this amount of money I could have done an in person spoon carving course. This company does not respond to you except with bots. They are however able to limit disgruntled customers sharing their experiences on social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter/X), to prevent them warning prospective customers about their deceitful practices. I have been unsuccessful in getting my money back from my bank and PayPal. I don’t believe Domestika is abiding by Australian Consumer Laws & has taken the funds illegally. I have reported this matter to Australian Federal Police and SCAMWatch (who share information with the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission). The spoon carving community is very small and I will be sharing my experience about this company on every internet platform that I can (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn, Google review etc), because I do believe this company has used fraudulent tactics to advertise their courses. Tens of thousands of customers been scammed by Domestika Inc. Please do your due diligence and never deal with them (give your bank details), otherwise you will be scammed too! If you have been scammed please sign the Change Org petition called ‘Domestika Estafadores’ (with 12+ K signatures and counting), to help get a class action off the ground. Sorry I can't post the email address here!

Jahresabo Plus / Abzocke
Ich habe wie schon viele andere ein Produkt recht günstig im Dezember 2025 gekauft. Da ich immer mal wieder bei Domestika ein Tutorial gekauft habe, bin ich von keinem verstecktem Jahresabo ausgegangen. Leider habe ich seit heute ein Jahresabo. Die Probephase von 30 Tagen ist abgelaufen und somit wurde mir automatisch der volle Betrag abgebucht. Ich habe zum Einen keine Info gehabt, dass ich automatisch ein Jahresabo abgeschlossen habe zum Anderen wurde ich nicht über den Ablauf des Probeabos informiert. Man könnte sagen, meine Schuld, aber echt mies. Ich habe versucht über den Kundenkontakt das Geld zurück zu bekommen, leider ohne Erfolg. Eine Standart-E-Mail erhalten, das war es. Also, gebt acht und lasst euch nicht abzocken. Da ich nicht direkt auf die Antwort von Domestika reagieren kann, ergänze ich meinen Text. Ich habe von Domestika selbst keine E-Mails erhalten, sondern lediglich eine Abrechnung über PayPal. Aufgrund hoher Arbeitsbelastung habe ich mich in diesem Zeitraum nicht in meinen Account eingeloggt – das war rückblickend klar mein Fehler. Mein Tipp: Bitte immer sehr genau schauen, was noch si im Angebot steht. Ich habe nun ein Jahresabo mit 12 Token, was wirklich ganz großartig ist! Außerdem sehr positiv, dass das Team von Domestika auf meine Bewertung reagiert hat und keine automatisierte Standardantwort versendet wurde. Ein wirkliches Trostpflaster. Oder ein weiteres Standardschreiben? Ich danke Euch für den gelungenen Wochenstart und hoffe, dass euer unseröses Geschäftsverhalten in naher Zukunft ein Ende finden wird. Weniger anzeigen

Predatory and Scammy pricing policies
I would leave zero stars if I could. I signed up in 2023 for their yearly program. At $40, it seemed reasonable for unlimited access. I didn’t end up using the platform, and meant to cancel, but they send absolutely no billing or subscription emails, so after awhile I thought I must’ve already cancelled, or maybe never really signed up at all. Last year when it renewed, with no email notifications, the charge for $84 actually slipped right past me. This year, the $329 charge jumped out at me on my bank account! I didn’t even know what it was for - I had to go figure it out in my PayPal account. So to review, $39.99 first year (“discounted”), $84 second year (I assume “regular price”), then $329 third year????? They literally QUADRUPLED the price!!! All without ever once sending a billing email. Not a notification it was about to renew, nor a notification afterwards that it had renewed. Even on their website in my profile, they don’t post the invoice till AFTER they’ve sent it for payment, so you get NO NOTIFICATION, and have no way to cancel before they charge you! Oh, and of course they offer NO REFUNDS for the annual membership. Please Google Domestika reviews. You’ll see I’m not the only one this has happened to. It is happening to people with disturbing regularity. Do yourself a favor and find another platform with better courses and clear pricing!!! This is unbelievable that a company can get away with stuff like this in this day and age!!!

Upon doing a thorough research, I must conclude, I feel like I have been scammed.
Upon signing up for a 1 mnth course there seemed to have been a mandatory 1year plus trial I could not opt out of. While I had every intention to cancel it. I had issues doing so when I tried to a few days before it expired. I was eventually able to login an d cancel the subscription however it had already charged my PayPal account $109.99. While I understand they are trying to make money off persons with this program. I believe the choice should be optional. I should not be forced to complete courses on your platform because you refuse to provide me with a refund which was requested as soon as the service was cancelled. I have not used the plus service yet I am being told I cannot be refunded. In all my years of ordering services online, this is very new to me. ' Now I know what to look out for in the future and will not allow this t happen again. I will also do my best to educate as many persons as possible regarding this most traumatizing situation.

DO NOT purchase from this company. They use a classic negative option billing scam to trap customers. Here's how it works: they lure you in with a discounted price for a single class but then automatically enroll you in an annual subscription without clearly disclosing this upfront. Contacting customer support is virtually impossible. If you manage to get through, you’ll receive an automated response citing their strict no-refund policy. This issue is so widespread that their email begins with, “Regarding your request, if you are writing to us because you have received a charge that you do not recognize...” After that, you will not receive any further communication from customer support—ever. This is a predatory practice that preys on unsuspecting customers. Avoid this company at all costs. If I could rate it 0 stars, I would.

I signed up for the free trial with a free course, but when I went to pay, it switched to 0,99, which seemed a bit odd, but I went along with it. After checking everything looked good, I clicked to proceed to the next page and suddenly it jumped to 5,99€, which caught me off guard, but I clicked pay anyway since the 0,99 had seemed correct. This is highly suspicious and should be illegal where I live! I contacted them for a refund right away. When I tried to cancel my subscription in the app, it just showed "loading," but my phone and their servers were working fine. It seemed like they purposely messed with this part to make it hard to cancel unless you log into your computer. This feels wrong and unfair. They are not only taking advantage of users but also ruining platforms for artists.

Ahhoz van eszük, hogy belerángassanak az éves előfizetésbe, amit soha nem kértem, de ahhoz már férgek, hogy segítsenek, vagy nem többet, csak annyit megtegyenek a free trial élesedését megelőző napokban, hogy mondja le az ember, és ennek érdekébe kiküldjön egy értesítést is. Nyilván nem érdekük. Most már 329 dollárnál jár az éves előfizetés, költstek gyógyszerre. Szégyen, hogy alapvetően jó programokat nyújtó cégnek tűnik és ilyen sunyi megoldásokkal tartja fenn magát. Büszkék ehetnek rá, hogy 48 órán belül kiküldik max 3x ugyanazt a semmitérő sablon emailt. A support team egy semmitérő világszégyene.

I've purchased courses from Domestika for years with no problems. Suddenly they are sneaking unwanted "free trials" in on course purchases without authorisation! Having previously trusted them I did not read the fine print in the emailed invoice and did not see the "free trial" and it's terms. Then without any notice (they "say" they send 3 emails advising the end of the "free trial" BUT THEY LIE!!!) they slugged me for hundreds of $ and refuse to refund. I never even knew I had a "free trial" of a Plus account until they stole my money! I've never used it and never will! I don't want it, don't need it, and no longer trust them AT ALL!!!!! Scammers!

Domestika has pressured and intimidated the admins of the Facebook scam group. They hired powerful lawyers and used harsh tactics to shut the group down. This happened even though over 3.6k dissatisfied victims were supporting each other there. It would be better if this company spent more time improving their services, instead of trying to silence unhappy customers. Recently, they’ve claimed that there are over 1000 courses available in the plus membership, but they provide no proof. On their website, there are fewer than 100 courses listed in the membership, making their ads misleading. Not a great company at all.

NO it is not to be trusted! I'm sadly among the many scammed by them. You buy a course, they subscribe you for free to the Plus service, they do not tell you, they do not tell you before the automatic renewal and there! you have a yearly subscription that you did not authorise or wanted. DiSHONEST SCAMMERS in need of money: which I understand everybody working hard does it for money to support himself or family. That does not condone this behaviour! Especially with those who have already purchased courses and trusted them

Terrible customer service. Honestly, it's hard to get any help when you need it, and it's impossible to reach an actual person. You are just directed to their FAQs and a chatbot option. If you ask for a real person, they give you a contact form, and their answers are always useless auto-replies that just lead you back to the FAQs. You’ll never speak to a real person or get proper support - I’ve tried twice and got nowhere both times. It's disappointing because some of the courses here are really good.

Vettem egy kurzust a Domestikán €0,99-ért. Tudtom nélkül automatikusan feliratkoztak a Domestika Plus-ra, és €294,32-t vontak le. A blokkban szerepel egy „30 napos próbaidő”, apró betűkkel, de a fizetésnél sosem volt világos, hogy ez egy nagy, NEM visszatérítendő előfizetéshez vezet. Nem beszélek spanyolul, így az előfizetés számomra haszontalan. Rögtön lemondtam az előfizetést és visszatérítést kértem. Ez megtévesztő és igazságtalan, és minden leendő vásárlónak azt javaslom, legyen nagyon óvatos.

Very disappointed!
Very disappointed! I bought a course at a 'special' price, but their strategy seems to always have discounts on courses. They secretly added a trial to their PLUS service without telling me, and after 30 days, they charged me €100. They refused to refund it and only send generic responses. Even if you paid with PayPal, it doesn't change anything. The whole process feels like a nightmare, and their AI system is no help! Avoid this website at all costs – they even control comments on social media!

Wenn man einen günstigen Kurs bucht (z.B. für 0,99 EUR), dann wird einem beim Kauf ein "kostenloses" Abo (Domestika Plus) untergejubelt. Nach 30 Tagen wird dann das Jahren-Abo in Höhe von ca. 125 EUR abgebucht. Das Geld sieht man dann nie wieder. Wer versucht einen Refund zu bekommen, wird sehr schnell enttäuscht. Die Betrüger haben bereits eine Support-Seite gebaut, auf der klar erklärt wird, das es keine Rückzahlungen gibt.
