    Returned modem delivered to their warehouse and still no refund to my card!

    Just keep away from this internet provider. their "technician" cancelled the appointment which scheduled by them. i returned the modem 1 june and it has been delivered at 2nd june according to canada post tracking system. Oxio customer support initially informed me they did not receive (ocio does not have phone number or physical address though). when i send canada post tracking page ss customer agency told me sorry i missed, once we scan the package we will return the balance and it can take up to 10 business days (imagine how many returns they are getting and scanning takes 10 days). just keep away. wasting time and money.

    I ordered everything online, the modem arrived very quick, next day delivery. There was zero guide in the package, so I had to sort it myself, but with ChatGPT everything worked fine. Internet runs smooth. And it’s 3x cheaper than my old provider with almost same speed, really happy so far.

    I have used OXIO since Nov 2023 and I can't go back (to Rogers or Bell). No tricks, service is quick even though it is online (text) only, but that works fine for me. The few problems I had like losing connection, were fixed by text fast. It is stable and affordable. I was really fed up with price hikes, long waits on phone, and never knowing if I was getting a good deal from Bell or Rogers. Only when I complained or threatened to leave did they give a better rate. Oxio bills are clear and the price has stayed the same over the 1.5 years I have been with them. No going back for me.

    I was hopeful about oxio but after the internet was installed it worked only 2 days then stopped. I waited 2 weeks for a technician, who said the router was broken and I needed a new one from oxio. I messaged oxio and waited 3 hours to hear back. Still no reply and I ended up cancelling my service. 3 weeks without internet and no customer help anywhere.

    I moved to Oxio from Cogeco three months back and it’s way better. I’m paying half the price (!!) and the internet speed is quicker too. The setup, mobile app, and all has been very easy. I haven’t needed customer support yet but the internet did cut out once for about an hour, I just reset the modem and it worked fine again. Other than that, no problems at all. If you want a more modern option than the big Canadian companies, Oxio has been pretty good so far.

    I've been with OXIO for around 1.5 years now and the service stays pretty steady. Once in a while, the TV slows down a bit (so I didn’t rate it 5 stars). But everything else—our computer, tablets and phones—works just fine. I picked the 75 Mbps plan. Maybe faster speed would do better. Still, this isn’t such a big thing for me when I look at the deal from OXIO: no hidden costs (no contract, cancel fees or setup fee). We got it started and running without anyone having to visit our place. Also, you can get your first month for free with a code (REJ7WM4) while signing up. To sum up: not perfect, but a realy good choice if you want low-cost and mostly steady internet.

    My internet kept cutting out for around 30 minutes...I restarted the modem several times. I sent a message to their "support" number and also contacted them via messenger. Their reply time is really slow. The issue with their "support" is that they don’t really help from what I experienced. I will be searching for another provider, and I suggest others avoid signing up with Oxio.

    We have used Oxio for 18 months so far. The first year, the service was normal. People were happy. But then the service got worse and worse. Now the service drops over 20 times a day. Their solutions and answers stopped working a long time ago. Swapping cable ends and replacing their router did not help. They keep giving the same answers that don’t fix anything.

    One of the rare companies I’ve dealt with that actually helped us when money problems came up, and the speeds are good for what you pay. Had some trouble for a few days because of broken supply lines nearby, and they gave us credit for the downtime without any hassle.

    I’m writing this review with some hesitation but feel I have to share my experience with Oxio. For two years, everything was fine with no problems. However, about two weeks ago, my connection started dropping on all devices. The wifi would cut out randomly, sometimes every few minutes, and it took many tries to get it back. This was really bad when trying to watch a hockey or baseball game. Customer support didn’t help at all. Over several days, they replaced the modem and the router, but nothing improved. Then they said there was a problem with the line. That turned out to be false because the Cogeco technician checked and said the line was fine. Oxio didn’t offer any further help and seemed uninterested. I asked for a credit for the lost service time, but they said no. That was enough for me. I’ve switched to Netcrawler and haven’t had any trouble yet. 🤞

    Hard to reach anyone when you really need some help. They don't have a phone line, only texting, and they don’t answer at night. Put that with slow speed and poor gear, it’s just not worth the cost. Better to pick a better grade provider and skip the hassel.

    I’ve been using this service for a year, and I’m happy with it. The technician showed up on time and did a good job. I followed the instructions they provided, and I got online without any issues. The price is also very reasonable for the service I’m getting. I would definitely recommend it to others.

    Terrible internet service we have experienced! It disconnects several times a day, and we’re hard-wired, so it’s not a wifi problem. The customer service is also laughable. There’s no proper support line—you have to text or message them on Facebook… very professional.🙄 The only time I notice anyone praising them is when they hand out codes. Those people get a free month of this poor, cheap internet whenever someone uses their code! Haha. Not for me… I’m cancelling this junk!

    When the package arrived, I noticed that the type-C cable included was completely useless, so I had to use one of my own to get the eero device working. We tried many times but could not connect to the internet. When I contacted the company (they only offer text support, no phone calls), I was advised to replace the yellow LAN cable too. I believe they should have provided cables that actually functioned! A tech visit was arranged, but no one came or called. I reached out again, and they told me they would check on it for me, but I might need to set up another appointment. I waited at home for hours to make sure I was available, yet it seems they couldn't do the same.

    I used to be with Shaw but moved to Oxio because the price was a lot better and there's no contract to worry about. The equipment arrived as expected and setting it up was pretty easy. The speed and reliability seem better than Shaw, likely because Oxio gave me a more modern modem and router at no extra cost. Plus, you can get the first month free if you use a code (R4X3AX2) when you sign up

    Their network has been losing signal in western

    Their network has been losing signal in western Canada since Oct 10, 2024, and it has not been fixed as I write this. It only lasts for an hour before dropping. If you enjoy gaming, I strongly suggest staying away from this isp since my ms jumped from 50-90ms on regular servers. Large company's might charge higher, but they provide better services as these guys use their connection lines and reroute data in a confusing manner.

    Cheated like many others have shared. Gave money upfront for them to send me gear that was broken. Tried to contact them by email and text since they don’t have a phone number. Neither got a reply. Stay away from this company, it is a scam.

    The price is definitely good, and when it's working, it's fast! But it does stop working several times a week, and I need to unplug and replug it, which is annoying. I'm the only one using it, but I run a server at home for my software, so frequent internet outages really disrupt my work. Now I have to keep my server elsewhere because I can't rely on my internet, which is too bad. However, if you don't mind frequent outages, the price makes it okay.

    The service is fairly steady, but about once a month, I notice a speed drop on my TV for a minute or so before it returns to normal (that’s why I didn't give it a full 5 stars). Our computer, phones, and tablets have never had any issues. Maybe choosing a higher speed could fix this. Still, this small glitch isn’t a huge problem for me considering the great deal OXIO provides: no extra costs (no contract, no cancellation fee, or connection fee). They also don’t charge for sending the equipment. We set it up and activated it ourselves without needing a service person to come over. Plus, the first month is free if you use a code (REJ7WM4) when signing up. In short: it's not perfect, but a very good choice for a low-priced and mostly reliable internet service.
