I purchased a Miele Dishwasher from Designer Appliances in May 2024.

I purchased a Miele Dishwasher from Designer Appliances in May 2024. The reviews were very mixed, with some great and some not-so-great, so I decided to ask what was happening. I was told there had been some past issues, but they were working hard to fix them, move forward, and rebuild trust. Designer Appliances definitely kept their word. Miele appliances are not cheap unless they have a special deal. I was lucky to get a rebate from Miele. Designer Appliances even helped me with the Miele forms when I had issues. The whole process went very well, especially since I bought the dishwasher while in CA, had it delivered and installed in NJ, on the date I wanted and at the time I needed. Big thanks to Alyssa and the great installer. Both were wonderful. Great Company.

The checkout took longer

The checkout took longer than expected, maybe because my internet connection went down when I tried to pay with PayPal. The product arrived in a box from the shipping company, and thankfully, it wasn't damaged. But when we opened it, we noticed that the back top panel was bent and some screws were missing. We later found paperwork indicating that the item was previously sold to and returned by Home Depot. We didn't know we were buying something that had been used before. Despite these issues, the product seems to be working okay.

Delivery went smoothly and within the expected time frame.

Delivery went smoothly and within the expected time frame. The two men, an older gentleman and his younger assistant, were friendly and professional, and they even took all the packaging with them! The wine cooler fit perfectly in place, and everything looks good. The tablet they used for the transaction worked well, so the whole delivery was done in about 10 minutes, or even less. It feels good to support local businesses and get such good service and clear communication.

Had a great time working with Designer Appliances!

Russell was awesome from beginning to end. He helped with all my questions through the sales process, and I’m sure I picked the right appliances for a good price. Also, Russ and Alexis were really supportive when I needed help during installation. Thanks to everyone! Designer Appliances is definitely my choice from now on.

The staff demonstrated excellent knowledge, provided courteous service, and willingly discussed the pros and cons of different options. This positive experience ensures I'll be a returning customer.

Checkout dragged on, possibly due to Wi-Fi

Checkout dragged on, possibly due to Wi-Fi issues during my attempt to use PayPal. The product arrived boxed by the shipping company, seemingly intact. However, upon unboxing, disappointment set in as we discovered a bent back top panel and missing screws. Shockingly, the paperwork revealed it was a previously sold and returned item from Home Depot. Despite this revelation, the product functions adequately. The purchasing experience was marred by undisclosed history, leaving mixed sentiments about the company's transparency.

I experienced some disappointment with the SAVE10 coupon, claimed to expire today, but it failed during checkout—a minor hiccup. Attempted to reach your office by phone earlier with no response by day's end. Despite this, I proceeded with the purchase and request consideration for a credit.

Super simple website to navigate. Prices are really good. One thing I would recommend is adding a shipping date estimate and more accessory options (like hoses and vents for washer/dryer). Overall a fantastic site!!

The company's delivery service was disappointing.

The company's delivery service was disappointing. They showed up 90 minutes after the agreed window, and I was only notified of the delay after the window had passed. When they finally arrived, they simply dropped off the package without offering any assistance with unpacking or checking the items. They rushed through the process and had me sign a form without properly going through it. Their explanation for the delay was that they were busy with other installations, but it seems odd that drop-offs wouldn't be prioritized. I'm relieved that I opted to handle the installation myself. While their prices are competitive, the quality of their free delivery service leaves much to be desired.
