Melio is a nice, cheap way to pay bills with QBO (I also use it with QB Desktop). You have to log in to Melio separately, but info syncs to your file, ACH is free, and mailed checks are cheap.

This company held onto over $2,000 of our nonprofit's funds for five weeks. Their responses to our inquiries were confusing and unhelpful, causing harm to our relationship with customers. Trying to work with this company only led to more complications, and I strongly advise avoiding them. Regarding Melio's response, it was disappointing. Despite our customer providing authorization directly through email from a supervisor, Melio insisted that only the billing clerk could communicate with them. The promised interaction with a supervisor never materialized, adding to the overall frustration.

In the recent months, Melio has been sending unclear emails regarding payments and recipients. It claims my vendors are paid and their checks are deposited, but my vendors dispute this. When I contact Melio, representatives confirm that the checks were not deposited. Melio seems to be playing games with my money and time, causing frustration for both me and my vendors. Despite being a sizable company, they prioritize financial antics over providing reliable service and value. I'm not pleased with their performance.
