We joined the class when Marí was

We joined the class when Marí was just 3 months old, and now she's almost a year! We recently did her DNA test and discovered she’s part heeler and husky, so she's really energetic and was pretty destructive at first 😭 The trainers were amazing!!! It really depends on how much effort you put into the program and utilize the support offered. It's like a science, studying your dog to understand triggers, body language, and behaviors. Now at 1 year old, her destructive behavior is limited to ripping up paper bags and boxes in her pen, her little contained mischief lol. Training takes a long time, and I loved the gentle approach of positive reinforcement. I feel like we have a wonderful relationship because of it. She’s still learning but I am so glad to say she happily goes into her crate now! My partner and I have a full life thanks to crate training and can enjoy going out to dinner knowing she’s safe. Great program!

This was a good program with

This was a good program with lots of nice stuff. I signed up for the fancy support during winter when we got our puppy 'cause she was too young for class and the weather was bad for going out. But I should've waited 'cause the free stuff had so much content I didn't use the fancy support much. Also, I had trouble finding my way 'round the course, but that's more my fault than the course's. Still, I learned a lot, and our puppy is doing really well. She got potty trained super fast, which was great 'cause the weather was bad! Michele and her team were very helpful, and their advice was good. I liked Michele’s saying "It’s not a problem until it’s a problem." It helped me not mess up. So thanks Michele for helping us start well. I'll keep using your program as our puppy grows.

When we got Marí at 3 months, we had no idea what we were in for. Now, almost a year later, we found out she's a heeler/husky mix – super energetic and a bit of a handful. At first, she was pretty destructive, but our trainers were absolute lifesavers. They taught us to really understand her triggers and behaviors, almost like being a dog scientist. Now, her idea of destruction is just ripping up paper bags in her pen – contained chaos, if you will. Training her took time, but we focused on positive reinforcement, and it’s paid off. We have a great bond, and she even goes into her crate happily. Crate training has given us the freedom to have a normal life, knowing she's safe. Fantastic program!

I began watching the course content a week before bringing home my 2-month-old puppy. Initially, it felt a bit overwhelming, but the well-paced lessons and consistent reinforcement of positive psychological concepts made the learning process enjoyable for both me and my pup. Despite taking an additional offline training course, I found the Bark Academy program to be my primary learning source, providing valuable information and engaging games. Highly recommended!

Wow! What an amazing program!

Wow! What an amazing program! Michelle is super informative and her methods really work well for our rescue puppies. We completed the full 30-day program and have noticed a big improvement in our bond with the dogs. Thanks to Michelle and her team for "How to Train Your Dream Dog"! We've really appreciated "30 Days to Puppy Perfection", your YouTube vids, and Facebook group.

This dog training group/class is really good. I've raised and trained dogs before, and HTTDD is the best I've found.

The training program is extensive

The training program is extensive, thorough, and beneficial. Opting for the pro-level, I assumed it was fully refundable without delving into the fine print. After a day or two, the realization hit me—balancing the time required to watch videos, go through workbooks, document my dog's progress, complete assignments, participate in Zoom calls, and pose questions became overwhelming. Managing the needs of my puppy, household, family, and myself heightened the stress. Recognizing the need for personalized, in-person assistance, I sought a refund with the intention of investing in a local trainer. Unfortunately, my request was denied due to my oversight in reading the fine print. While I appreciate the course's content, the time commitment proved challenging, making it difficult to engage fully in the Facebook group and Zoom meetings. Progressing through the course and its numerous videos is a slow process, given the need to review materials multiple times. Michelle's expertise is evident, showcasing genuine care and effective instructional skills. A desire for in-person training with her persists, but the course, while excellent, remains time-intensive.

I like the course content a lot!

I like the course content a lot! It's very helpful and I'll use it forever! But, sometimes it's hard to hear one of the girls, and things seem out of order. Not sure what's happening there, but it bothers me a bit. I wish the whole course website, booklet, & videos were more polished I guess. But that's the only problem I had, and it has nothing to do with the actual lessons, so kudos to Michelle and her team!

This company's course was a lifé

This company's course was a lifé and sanity saver for this 1st time puppy owner. We got lessons and valuable info in an ebook, worksheets, videos, Facebook, and live Zoom calls. We learned how to train our pups by consistency, compassion, and proceeding at your pup's pace. There were fun games and contests, our questions were personally answered by the experts.

The lessons were fantastic, and our puppy enjoyed watching them with us! The ability to re-watch the videos anytime is a great feature. However, my only concern was the inconsistent sound quality. In some videos with two instructors, only one had a microphone, making it difficult to hear the other.

Awesome lessons. Our dog loved watching them with us! I like that we can replay the videos anytime. Only downside is sound quality varied between videos. Sometimes when two instructors, only one had a mic, so hearing other one was tough.

I really enjoyed Michelle and her YouTube videos. They were super helpful. The Zoom calls were nice too for asking questions. But sometimes the feedback felt really harsh and hard to achieve. I have a tough breed and situation, so their advice often felt unachievable. When I shared progress on the Facebook page, I'd get told what I was still doing wrong, which made me feel helpless and sad. I lost faith things would improve. Eventually, I stopped and found a good boarding school for my puppy. After a month, he came back perfect—happy, healthy, and well-behaved, like my dream dog. Funny thing, I shared a video from my trainer and was told I was doing it all wrong—turns out it was my professional trainer, not me. Now I'm training him as my service animal. Overall, the program suits certain breeds in big suburban homes. I'd recommend it only for that situation. It was expensive, and I'm still paying it off. Michelle is great though!
