I find Dexcom CGM handy, but there are a few things I don't like.

I find Dexcom CGM handy, but there are a few things I don't like. 1. The device is often inaccurate and needs constant recalibration. 2. It keeps falling off. I can't use adhesives as they make me itch badly, the patch doesn’t last, and my skin breaks out. Also, it bothers me that the government covers these costs and they keep sending more 3-month supplies. I already have 6 months of G6. It seems they're just taking advantage of the government's generosity. Also, the G6 Transmitter costs $289.00 on Dexcom's site, but you can get it for $35.00 from Diabetes Express. Something feels off here.

The Freestyle Libre 2 system worked alright during my trial.

The Freestyle Libre 2 system worked alright during my trial. Occasionally, it would disconnect from my phone, which was nearby. The Dexcom setup is quite similar but requires a passcode to pair with your phone, which seems effective. The only time it disconnects is when I close the app, which I occasionally do. I find the customizable graph useful, letting me switch between landscape and portrait modes and display data for different time spans. Meeting with a company representative and receiving units through the NHS went smoothly.

I can't understand why anyone would choose

I can't understand why anyone would choose Dexcom instead of Libre. Their app is pretty much worthless. Their website is always messing up and keeps you stuck in annoying "login loops," where it fails to recognize the username you just made and had Chrome save. They make setting up a new sensor way too complicated. Plus, they don't even include alcohol swabs, and it doesn't last as long as the Freestyle. I'm switching to Libre.

This product is nice for checking blood sugar levels.

This product is nice for checking blood sugar levels. However, the device is fragile and easily breaks during any activity where it might get bumped or jostled. Out of 2 orders with 6 sensors, only 2 worked for 10 days. That’s a 75% fail rate. In conclusion, this product is rubbish. I will not be getting more prescriptions and will talk to my provider about another device. Don’t waste your time and mony on this!

This company not the same no more

This company not the same no more. I started getting bad rashes after using Dexcom G6. Never happened before, so maybe they changed the sticky stuff. I complained, but wanna share in case others had same prob. You should complain too.

This product is absolute garbage

This product is absolute garbage. It's borderline unusable. I encounter a 'sensor error' at least once every day, and even when it works, the data is horribly inaccurate. I might as well stick to manual blood tests exclusively.
