Ordered a $3,616 ice maker

Ordered a $3,616 ice maker for our kitchen remodel on 10/13/2023. It was delivered on 10/24/2023, left in our garage by the carrier. However, as our kitchen was under construction and we were on vacation until 11/4/2023, we couldn't inspect the ice maker until 11/10/2023. Upon opening, we discovered corner damage. Despite providing photos and video evidence, the company insisted on a 5-day notification policy, leaving us with a useless, expensive ice maker for our new kitchen. They offered a $300 "repair" credit, but the cost of shipping alone exceeds this. A frustrating experience for a homeowner in the midst of a remodel.

What do you say about an online shop that is pretty user-friendly

What do you say about an online shop that is pretty user-friendly and has quick shipping, BUT items often come damaged?? Sure, they send replacements fast, but those also show up broken! It’s impressive that their chat bot is set up to handle damage claims. To be clear, we ordered 124 nappy bowls, and 24 came damaged; out of the 24 replacements, 9 were also broken. I’m curious to see how many of the 9 replacements arrive intact.... also, previously ordered chrome shelves, some came bent and rusty; yes, they were replaced, but there seems to be a clear trend with WebstaurantStore.

I strongly advise avoiding this

I strongly advise avoiding this company like the plague. I placed an order through their website, and despite their initial estimate of 2-3 weeks for shipping, it took a staggering FOUR weeks for an "updated" shipping date. After multiple delays, I decided to cancel the order, only to discover that it would take another FOUR days to confirm the cancellation via email. The lack of direct communication and numerous delays have left both me and my customer extremely frustrated. This experience is severely impacting my business, and I would rate them negatively if possible.
