Chegg's decline in the quality of homework help

Chegg's decline in the quality of homework help is disappointing. Recently, a significant portion of the responses seems to be copied directly from language models like Chat GPT. This lack of originality and effort is unacceptable, as it diminishes the value of the service. When seeking assistance, the expectation is genuine support, not recycled content. It's disheartening to witness the degradation of what was once a reliable platform for academic help. Chegg should address this issue promptly to maintain its credibility and provide users with the high-quality assistance they expect.

Man, this is nuts. Just trying

Man, this is nuts. Just trying to study math, minding my own business, and bam! Account suspended out of nowhere. Like, what did I even do? Nothing against the rules, that's for sure. Now I'm stuck without my account, and it's putting a real damper on my math groove.

The company is clueless about referencing.

The company is clueless about referencing. It’s honestly simpler to create a bibliography myself. For the price you charge, you should do better!!! I used to use cite this for me, so let down that this awful company took over...

Despite canceling my subscription

Despite canceling my subscription in February 2023, they continued to charge both my and my mom's bank accounts every month for $22.04. When I reached out for assistance, they claimed they couldn't locate my account, although they had no trouble deducting payments even from an expired card. Their refund offer was limited to just three months, and they refused to provide any credit for reinstating the account. The inability to credit a free account and unprofessional customer service leave me deeply disappointed. I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau and dispute all charges with my bank.

Man, during intro to accounting

Man, during intro to accounting, Chegg was like my study sidekick – saved my academic life. Used it to check my assignments, compare notes, and get the hang of things. Fast forward to forensic accounting, and it's a different story. Chegg wasn't pulling through, no examples, just pushing me to ask an expert. Felt like I was missing something, and to top it off, the whole interface did a makeover. Meant to cancel my subscription, but life got busy, and it slipped my mind.

I consistently encounter issues

I consistently encounter issues with flagged homework questions, causing frustration as a college student in an advanced calculus course. The uncertainty surrounding whether my questions might be considered test material adds to the annoyance. The potential consequence of facing suspension for repeated flagging raises concerns. While Chegg does provide assistance at times, the overall experience is marred by the ongoing challenge of dealing with flagged queries.

Upon every login attempt, the persistent demand for registration and payment overshadows the user experience. The citation tool's navigation proves cumbersome, complicating the process. Transferring questions into the query box is a struggle, hindering efficiency. Moreover, the expert answers lack sufficient explanations, leaving me challenged in completing assignments. Improvements are crucial for a smoother and more user-friendly encounter.

Beware, this company is not good.

Beware, this company is not good. First off, the customer service is terrible, and finding help is hard. Most importantly, they are dishonest, be careful. After signing up for a subscription and canceling it on the same day, 6 months later they charged me again, which is dishonest! Now I’m trying to get my money back through my bank. Please avoid this company that has no qualms about taking people's money.

My experience with Chegg has

My experience with Chegg has been disappointing. Despite paying $17 a month, the constant inundation of advertisements disrupts the user experience. The excessive internet security measures further contribute to the website's dysfunctionality. Considering the emergence of more efficient and less greedy competitors in the market, I question the necessity of relying on Chegg.

I recently had a disappointing

I recently had a disappointing experience with this company. Despite being on vacation and attempting to cancel my subscription before an unexpected charge, the rude customer service showed no willingness to assist or refund. It would be appreciated if they prioritized customer satisfaction over mere monetary gains and provided timely payment reminders.

Man, the struggle is real!

Man, the struggle is real! I'm all about finding similar homework problems to crack the code, you know? But here's the kicker – loved the old search setup, but this new one? Not vibing with it at all. Sometimes, change isn't for the better, and this new search platform is a prime example. Bring back the old one, please!

I'm a big fan of Chegg! It's been a game-changer for my master's degree studies. The answers are consistently excellent, and I appreciate how Chegg dedicates time to provide top-notch solutions for every question. It's a valuable resource that I wish I had during my bachelor's degree. Five stars from me!

The company ain't let me go

The company ain't let me go to the site 'less I turn off my VPN, and that makes me feel uneasy 'bout usin' the internet that way. When I talked to customer service, they kinda just said, "well, don't use yer VPN, that's all I can say." They didn't say they'd fix it or anythin' like that.

Ugh, seriously, not a happy camper here! I can't even use my tablet without them asking for another dollar. I mean, come on! I signed up using my phone, and yeah, my email is still the same, but they're playing hardball, not letting me use the tablet.

This company is alright for doing loads of homework

This company is alright for doing loads of homework, but there are heaps of wrong answers that just take up time. It's good when there's a right answer though.
