Ever been in a bind trying to track down your RV's previous owner?
door Andy

Ever been in a bind trying to track down your RV's previous owner? I was too, until I stumbled upon this site promising to reveal all for just $1. Excitedly, I signed up, only to find out that after paying, there was nothing more than what I got for free. Total letdown! An hour later, I canceled my membership to prevent them from taking another cent. Don't make my mistake—keep your money and look elsewhere for reliable info on your RV's history.

Imagine this: I paid for a license plate lookup, eagerly awaited the results, and guess what?
door Chad S

Imagine this: I paid for a license plate lookup, eagerly awaited the results, and guess what? Zero information found! Outrageous, right? I demanded a refund immediately, but they told me it would take 24 to 48 hours. I even sent them a picture of the plate—still nothing! After digging through reviews, it seems like this company thrives on charging you endlessly. I've got screenshots and emails ready, and I'm not letting this slide. Don't fall into their trap—learn from my mistake. Avoid this company like the plague and save yourself the headache. Take action now and protect your wallet!

I signed up for a 7-day trial membership and promptly
door Melissa Cabot

I signed up for a 7-day trial membership and promptly canceled via email within the trial period. To my surprise, I was billed $24.37 for a full month just one day after my trial ended. Despite my follow-up email, I was informed by customer service that they had no record of my cancellation! Fortunately, they refunded my money promptly, but the whole ordeal was a frustrating waste of time. If you're considering a trial, beware: ensure you keep solid proof of your cancellation to avoid unexpected charges. Don't let what happened to me happen to you

Very convincing that for only $1, a person
door Bubba G

Very convincing that for only $1, a person could look at the site one time without obligation. However, I was charged automatically $22.99 for the last three months. As sure as I was about sharing my information for payment of $1, apparently, I missed some finer print. You got me good, Bumper. One look and you took $70 from me. After reading the reviews, I realize that it was your deceptive and misleading approach, and I am not the only one to trust and be taken advantage of. Don't bother giving me the same response as the others. I already know that you justify your actions as being clear. Nothing could be further from the truth.

WARNING: SCAM ALERT!!! I, along with
door Michael

WARNING: SCAM ALERT!!! I, along with countless others, fell victim to a dubious $1 charge for accessing a truck report, only to discover a sneaky $24 monthly subscription fee. Navigating the website to cancel is a confusing ordeal. Despite demanding a refund, I'm skeptical it'll materialize. This platform is a shady operation and deserves to be shut down. Proceed with extreme caution!

Scam!!!
door Jacob Eagleson

This company is a devious shady scam operation I changed my debit and credit card once before and some how they still get my info don't use them for anything! What's crazy is that I went as far as canceling my previous debit card and somehow they were able to get my next one I don't 7nderstand how that's even possible maybe because I added the card to Google pay again or something. Then I see other people have had the same problem.

Good customer service
door Anonymous

I signed up for Bumper, LLC last December when I was looking for a new car. The information that I received was useful. I thought that's all there was to it but I got a bill in April. I sent an email requesting refund of the April payment and that my account be canceled. I expected a hard time but was surprised how quickly and easily the account was canceled. Based on that I think this company deserves a good review.

Untrustworthy and a monthly rip off
door Duane H Helton

I pulled one report from bumper.com and I have been billed for 11 months without my permission. I have switched credit cards close my credit cards and they still somehow find a way to steal $18.99 for me on a monthly basis.

Misleading Website
door Jay
Edited

Looks like I along with countless others, were victim to Bumper's $1 charge for accessing a vehicle report, only to discover a $24.37 monthly subscription fee charged to my checking account this morning. I immediately contacted Bumper at 332-225-9745 and cancelled my "subscription". Currently I'm outside of their regular business hours, but rest assured, I will be calling them at 9:00 EDT to get a refund. UPDATE: Spoke with customer service and was issued a refund without hesitation. I’ve increased my rating to 3 stars solely based on the helpfulness of the CSR to quickly and painlessly take care of the issue. Still as a warning to others, beware of this issue.

This person keeps pulling $25 from my account
door Anonymous

This person keeps pulling $25 from my account, and I have no idea what it's for. I called the number on Google, but the guy acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. He called me back and then kept hanging up. I need someone to check this out because I’m really angry. I don’t know how they got my info to take money from my card. I’ve been having issues with identity theft, and this could be related. I had a payment to make for some training, and now I can’t cover it because of this charge. Now, I have to wait for it to stop pending to get my money back.

door Gary

Made mistake late one evening and clicked onto this site to receive report on vehicle I had purchased. Entered card number thinking i would be charged 1.00 , flat out lie by these criminals Stay Away. Ive been charged 23.99 for past 6 months. Unable to contact them through their lack-of customer- service number, just a big runaround!***these guys. Contemplating legal action. Like so many other folks on this site. Perhaps a class action will shut these mega scammers down! Stay Away!!!

I tried their service and forgot to
door anders

I tried their service and forgot to cancel after my trial. I didn't even remember signing up until I got an Nsf from my bank. I contacted customer service and received a very fast, very courteous response. My account was terminated immediately. Refund was not requested due to my own negligence. These people are not scammers or crooks. They are sincere, courteous individuals who I'll be happy to do business with again.

I signed up for the trial subscription like many others
door Matt B

I signed up for the trial subscription like many others, and had trouble finding any way to cancel it on the website. It felt intentional on their part. After the 7-day trial ended, I was charged and had to reach out to customer support directly to cancel. I also asked for a refund, but they didn’t respond at all. It’s disappointing to see companies use such questionable methods like this.

The help I received from this company was useful
door Jolene

The help I received from this company was useful, no complaints there, but as an older person, I missed noticing the $24.99 automatic fee for a VIN # check on my car so I could sell it. Always watch out for trial offers on products. I reached out to the company and spoke with a friendly agent named Camille. They are going to refund the pending charge for September. Thanks!

I tried out this service and forgot to cancel before
door michael a

I tried out this service and forgot to cancel before the trial ended. I didn't recall signing up until my bank sent me a notice about a fee. I reached out to customer support and got a quick, polite reply. They closed my account right away. I didn’t ask for a refund due to my own mistake. These folks are honest and respectful. I’d gladly work with them again.

Horrible experience!
door Staci B

Horrible experience! I used their service last year to buy a car and they missed key details on the vehicle history. I ended up losing 5 grand. I canceled my account, but billing continued for a year, and they only refunded 3 months. Service is poor—don’t repeat my mistake. Use CARFAX for full and accurate reports. This service is awful!

door Mary F.

Tried the trial - generated a report on our classic to check the history. - unsatisfactory results and not what I thought. Cancelled right away, after paying the first $5 trial fee. I sent an e-mail to "support" to cancel and they replied to confirm my request. I will keep an eye on my account to ensure there are no future charges.

I used their service for a week-long
door Anonymous

I used their service for a week-long ad campaign. It wasn't clear that I needed to cancel before the week ended. As a result, I got charged $22.99 each month from January to June, totaling $137.94. I thought it would only cost $1. I'm not sure what BumperLLC sells or offers. I gave them 1 star because there wasn't a lower option.

charged me for services I didn't use
door Anonymous

Bumper.com charged me for services I didn't use, and they won't refund me fully. Seems like others have faced similar issues. Are they getting credit card details unlawfully? Can't say for sure. Had to cancel my card and get a new one. Avoid this site. Might need legal action for a proper refund from this dodgy company.

You think the $2.95 fee will give you "basic info,"
door Mark R

You think the $2.95 fee will give you "basic info," but it’s just a way to get you to pay $32.00 for a full report. You end up with "nothing" for that $2.95. Besides, they have access to YOUR PayPal, Visa debit info, and more. Now I have to be careful when they charge me "automatically." TOTALY MISLEADING SCAM!!!

No service as described
door John

The company said it had a report and information on the vehicle I requested. Paid for the review and found no vehicle was found in the search. Total lie and false bate and switch. Cancelled immediately but was charge for the month even though the account was not used for a single report. It’s a rip off

Unable to login back to account for months
door Ted N

Unable to login back to account for months, despite using once for one VIN report. Wasted HUNDERDS of dollars, no customer support. Requested a new password, never got email. Tried a dozen times. Correct email and password but can't login. AVOID BUMBER! If no refund, will take legal action.

I entered my license plate number.
door Anonymous

I entered my license plate number. The website provides a "report" that ranges from 0-100% ready. However, I can’t access it without paying. It’s $32, and I don’t want a subscription. I paid, and then was told there was no information. Feels like a scam. Wasn’t I supposed to get the report?

I signed up for a seven-day trial for a dollar
door Frank K.

I signed up for a seven-day trial for a dollar, just like many others. As soon as I logged in, I canceled the subscription. However, they are now charging me $25 daily through Apple Pay. Fortunately, my Apple Pay account is empty, so the charges keep failing. Untrustworthy.

Their customer service and product are lacking at best.
door Richard

Their customer service and product are lacking at best. You're not given anything near a Carfax, less detail, and overall less info. Their customer service is basically "sorry you should have considered that earlier." Easily the worst customer service in the industry.

Purchased a subscription.
door Olivie F

Purchased a subscription. Complete SCAM. Info is inaccurate. Some cars show gas engine specs even if it is a DIESEL one. None of the 5 reports showed accidents or major accidents resulting in salvage titles. No service history (even if I am sure about salvage).

I looked up "free VIN report."
door Anonymous

I looked up "free VIN report." Got the top result. It shows you the usual 1 minute loading screen, then tries to get you to pay, presenting a "discount" that seems to be for everyone. Classic sales tactic, don’t get tricked. They want $13.99 each month.

door John Beard

Consistently, we're billed for the same issue. Despite six months of complaints, all we get is a repetitive recording. The company's inability to address and halt this ongoing problem is disheartening and reflects poorly on their customer service.
